PRESENTATIONS: MAKING AN IMPACT- Part I

In Part I of this session, participants will learn the mechanics of delivering a great presentation. Included are: analyzing audience styles, understanding various listening approaches, determining presentation purpose and objectives.

Outcomes:

• Create primary and secondary objectives

• Structure a presentation to achieve the desired outcome

• Prepare and deliver effective presentation

• Learn appropriate body language, eye contact and voice inflections during a presentation

• Understand proper use of visuals, handouts and language that engages the audience

• Manage effective listening and questioning

• Keeping the audience attentive

PRESENTATION EXCELLENCE - Part II*

In Part II, participants use the information from Part I to further development in the areas of voice, body language, visuals, eye contact, and handling questions and answer sessions. As a practice exercise, each participant will be required to deliver a short presentation.
